Surreal Days
Do you ever have those days where everything seems perfect for the moment. As if all the bad and sad leaves and suddenly you are left by yourself. Its just you- do you like it? I know I do. Didn’t used to be that way but I’m thankful. Its days like these that help me realize that with out the sorrow, I would never experience joy, and if I never had great joy, I would not understand the sorrow and appreciate both. For you cannot have one without the other.
So there I sat in the grass, birds chirping, green chai, 58 degrees, smell of lilacs and overcast but beautiful. I am happy, I’m in love, I’m taking it all in. I never know when I will be gone, so I might as well love every bit of it while I can and never have regret.
Find beauty in everything; even when you think there is none, there is something. It may not be what you want to see and thats okay; you should feel the pain and the loss for only then are you open to feeling the greatest joy and love.
It will be okay- it always is…
